Intern Letter: Christina Kim

Hi!

My name is Christina and I started my IT internship at Pure Mentorship recently, in July 2023.

As a part of Pure Mentorship, I have been honing my technical and collaborative skills. Being a part of IT means I have gained much experience of handling and programming our website. I’ve been able to contribute to a welcoming team while also receiving constructive feedback and experiences.

I am a computer science student at San Jose State University. I found an interest in coding and designing websites, and taught myself the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript while also looking for opportunities that would help me develop these skills, eventually finding Pure Mentorship through the Society of Women Engineers club.

Because of this internship, I have gained invaluable professional experience and have been able to contribute my own abilities for a meaningful cause.
