Intern Letter: Vi Huynh

Hi Everyone,

My name is Vi Huynh, and I am the Summer 2023 PR Intern at Pure Mentorship. I was fortunate enough to help contribute to this blog post and parts of the newsletter.

I was introduced to Pure Mentorship through the Operations Lead, Cora. I immediately found the message behind Pure Mentorship interesting. As someone who has had the privilege to have great mentors, I understand how important having a mentor can be–at times, life-changing.

Throughout my internship, I met and got to work with some incredible people. I have truly learned so much from them. It was extremely exciting to get to work with people around my age. From working with the IT team to the Digital Marketing team, I am extremely grateful to have worked with them.

When I first got this internship, I wanted to write about how impactful mentorship could be because it is so valuable to me already. Being able to help more students reach out to mentors really spoke to me as I want to help people create the future that they want.

This summer I was able to focus on pacing myself as I made content. I made sure to communicate with my team in order to provide the best content I could. My writing and editing has definitely grown since I first started as my work has become more refined. I have also learned how to incorporate feedback much better than before.

I am so happy that a lot of my work was able to get posted onto the blog! It has been so fulfilling to help others understand Pure Mentorship a little bit better. I hope you all enjoy the blogs that I have posted thus far. Thank you for reading any of my work, it means the world that you are taking the time to read my work.

While my internship with Pure Mentorship will be ending soon, the blog is in great hands! I’m super excited to see what the future writers will write here!
